At my age, I have seriously been wondering if I should attempt the trek. Even if it is not a climb, it will be demanding on my old body. So I was earnestly thinking of becoming an encouraging observer rather than an active participant. Then one morning in May, reading my morning devotion from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young, I found this.

And then this Sunday at church, the Old testament reading was from Geneses 12. What stood out to me was verse 4, “So Abram went, . . . Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed.”
I think the main point of the sermon was that our faith is a journey that goes on all of our life. That we must keep moving (climbing ?) from our comfort zone into new things. Our faith journey will not be easy, we will not always know the way but in the end, it will be a blessing, to ourselves and to others. So . . . Look out Lost City ! Here we come.

Bon courage et bonne route
